Trusted in demanding research environments

Leartiker, a Basque technology centre specializing in Food and Polymer Technology, has chosen our meat mincers for its trials in an innovative food research project. In this initiative (project DELAC), Leartiker collaborated with the Urkaiko slaughterhouse to evaluate a meat disinfection technique using lactic acid. The study, part of the BERRIKER 2023 programme, was successfully completed after 13 months and showed that lactic acid treatment can improve meat hygiene, enabling the production of meat preparations without preservative additives. That a high-level scientific centre uses Braher machinery in such delicate trials highlights the quality, safety, and hygiene of our mincers under rigorous conditions.
